A Danville, VA native, Harry has been active in the community, having served on the Board of Directors of the Danville Chapter of the American Red Cross as chairman and president, The Danville Speech and Hearing Center, Danville Estate Planning Council, The Community Tax Law Project, Danville Community College Educational Foundation, Inc., and the Danville Area Humane Society, and as an adjunct faculty member at the Danville Community College and Averett University. Harry has served 10 years as the Assistant Commissioner of Accounts for the City of Danville, Virginia, and possesses a wealth of practice experience.

Harry Sakellaris graduated from the Mclntire School of Commerce of the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, Virginia, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce, Accounting Concentration, in May 1979.

Harry thereafter worked for three years as a Certified Public Accountant for the former Danville CPA firm of Manning, Perkinson, Floyd & Co.

Harry pursued his legal education by attending the Walter F. George School of Law of Mercer University, in Macon, Georgia, obtaining his Juris Doctor Degree in June 1985, and becoming licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia.

Harry completed his formal legal education by obtaining a Master of Law and Taxation Degree in May 1986, from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law of the College of William and Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia, and becoming licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Harry successfully completed online courses in “The Ancient Greek Hero in 24 hours” and “Pyramids of Giza, Ancient Egyptian Art and Archaeology” though HarvardX of Harvard University.

Harry was employed by, was a shareholder, and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors, and in various corporate offices, including, Secretary and Treasurer, of Clement & Wheatley, A Professional Corporation, from June 2, 1986, through the cessation of the law practice on May 31, 2023.

Harry has two adult daughters, Kasey and Emily, and two grandchildren, Delanie and Dawson.

Glenda A. Lemons, Paralegal & Office Administrator
Glenda has worked with Mr. Sakellaris since 2015 (including 9 years at Clement & Wheatley, A Professional Corporation), and she is thoroughly familiar with estate and trust administration. She is the heart and soul of the practice, and the gatekeeper of access to Mr. Sakellaris. Glenda is a graduate of Averett University and Patrick Henry Community College. Glenda now lives in Danville, Virginia, but grew up in The City of Martinsville and Henry County, Virginia. Glenda has two adult daughters, Tamara and Tiara, and one grandson, TJ.
